A Clerical, Shipping job description and requirements:


* Shipping/Receiving dock experience preferred


* Familiar with wrapping, strapping, palletizing


* Excellent computer skills required


* RF Scanner experience preferred


* Attention to detail; problem-solving skillset required


* Responsible for printing out bill of ladings and ensuring that all pallets are properly labeled with the correct paperwork and respective tracking numbers


* Reporting all issues that may occur regarding bill of ladings not found on the shared drive to a member of the management team


* Moving all pallets pending bill of ladings into a designated area defined by a member of management.


* Communicate with shipping team members to ensure that all outgoing freight is being grouped according by carrier


* Work with hand-held scanner to scan pallets that need to be scheduled; weight pallets and ensure quality of pallets


* Communicate with logistics team regarding re-weights, mis-scans and identifying issue pallets


* Audit trailers to ensure pallet count is correct versus pallet count to be loaded onto trailers


* Verifying Order

Schedule:


* Shift hours: Monday thru Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM


* Two 15-minute paid breaks


* One 30 minute unpaid lunch break


* Lunch provided on Mondays


* Job Type: Full-time

Required Skills & Experience:


* 1-2 years' experience required


* Must have high level of computer skills

Physical Requirements:


* Standing, walking most of the time


* Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time


* Frequently lifting 15 to 25 lbs.


* Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.


* Seldom sitting, crawling or squatting
