Incident Manager - GRC - Philadelphia
Overview
As the Incident Manager at the Barber National Institute, you will hold primary responsibility for overseeing the organization’s Incident Management functions.
In this full-time exempt role, you will ensure timely and accurate reporting, documentation, and investigation of incidents in accordance with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
You will serve as an expert resource for program leadership, point people, and Certified Investigators, ensuring that incidents are properly reported, investigated, and finalized within the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) system.
This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to promote health, safety, and quality of care for individuals served.

What You’ll Have
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field (required)
• Eligibility for Act 33 and Act 34 clearances (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Incident Management in the EIM system (required)
• Experience as a Certified Investigator or Point Person (preferred)
• One or more years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational, time management, and regulatory compliance skills
A Typical Day May Include:
• Ensuring initial reporter and point person activities are completed for all reportable incidents
• Submitting initial reports within 24 hours and ensuring all required notifications (APS, OAS) are made when applicable
• Finalizing incident reports in the EIM system within 30 days
• Monitoring EIM alerts and collaborating with local and regional ODP reviewers to secure approval of final reports
• Serving as a resource to teams to determine reportability and whether investigations are required
• Assigning Certified Investigators and providing guidance, feedback, and ongoing support
• Maintaining communication with program leadership regarding investigative progress
• Participating in administrative case reviews and supporting the development of corrective actions
