General Purpose

Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their assessment, care plan, and facility standards.
Key Responsibilities


* Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining


* Measure and record vital signs (TPR), weights, and intake/output as instructed


* Respond promptly to call lights and ensure residents unable to call for help are checked frequently


* Observe and report changes in condition, skin breakdown, or unusual findings to the Charge Nurse


* Perform care procedures only as trained and within scope


* Maintain resident rooms, belongings, and equipment in clean, orderly condition


* Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes


* Provide restorative and rehabilitative support as directed


* Ensure confidentiality of resident information and follow all facility policies regarding infection control and safety


* Report accidents, incidents, concerns, and potential violations immediately


* Create a warm, positive, and respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers

Qualifications


* Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification


* CPR preferred


* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively


* Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs and assist in resident transfers/mobility


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassion and professionalism

Work Environment

Noise level is generally low to moderate.

May be required to assist during emergency situations and evacuations.
