General Purpose

As a Housekeeper at Highland Palms, you play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Your work ensures our community remains free of obstacles and odors, contributing to the health and well-being of everyone in our care.

Essential Duties


* Maintain cleanliness in all public and common areas, including lobby, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.


* Clean resident rooms and bathrooms thoroughly.


* Keep handrails, walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, and towel dispensers spotless.


* Empty trash cans and replace liners.


* Sweep and mop floors regularly.


* Follow proper safety measures, including using caution signage and securing cleaning supplies.


* Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean, orderly manner.


* Report safety concerns or supply needs promptly.


* Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude.


* Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications


* High School Diploma or GED required.


* Experience in a long-term care facility preferred.


* Ability to read and follow instructions.


* Basic math skills.


* Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.


* Fluent in written and spoken English.


* Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, kneeling, and bending.
