What You Will Be Doing

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee a team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of Lynden Logistics' accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include:


* Designing and maintaining financial statements for management and foreign reporting requirements


* Reviewing reports from accounting staff, internal departments, and foreign subsidiaries


* Ensuring adherence to U.S.

GAAP, tax regulations, company policies, and international accounting standards


* Providing training, guidance, and support to accounting staff and business units


* Establishing and refining accounting procedures and workflows


* Assigning duties, managing workload, and coordinating daily activities


* Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes


* Reviewing and approving journal entries for accuracy and completeness


* Serving as a liaison between multiple accounting departments


* Supporting internal, external, and parent-company audits


* Assisting with special accounting projects as needed


* Managing and developing the accounting team


* Maintaining regular and predictable attendance

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications


* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting


* 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience


* 1 to 3 years of proven managerial or supervisory experience


* Strong communication skills, including the ability to interpret financial documents and respond to inquiries from customers, regulators, and business partners


* Ability to present information effectively to leadership and cross-functional groups
