Position Summary:
The primary function of the Recovery Services (RS) Senior Clinician position is to provide a combination of quality direct clinical care services to our patients served and supervision of our team of clinical staff.

The RS Senior Clinician will also provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure regulatory compliance, support clinical quality improvement, and champion Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS)-aligned practices across both Recovery Services sites.

The senior clinician is integrated directly into the clinical environment and provide direct care and coordination of services in tandem with his/her/their colleagues within the recovery services departments.


* Exhibit expertise in evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.


* This may include but not be limited to group counseling, resource management, psychotherapy, harm reduction education, supervision of social work interns, or case presentations


* Performs advanced, high quality, thorough psychosocial diagnostic evaluations that contain data in support of the diagnosis, findings, evidence-based treatment recommendations and plans.


* Documents every visit and collaboration in accordance with departmental standards and demonstrates competence in presenting completed assessments for clinical disposition in a clear and organized manner.


* Provides consultation to and coordinates patient care with multidisciplinary staff.

 


* Participate in clinical case reviews, warm handoffs, and interdisciplinary care coordination.


* Provides assessment and treatment for a range of conditions to individuals, couples, families and groups, acquiring additional training and supervision for couples and families and group treatment, as indicated.
