Job Responsibilities
* Conduct independent due diligence reviews of credit proposals, ensuring adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements
* Identify, categorize, and escalate exceptions and errors, ensuring timely remediation and clear communication with stakeholders
* Analyze client documentation and credit data to validate accuracy of grading, collateral, and risk assessments
* Participate in targeted reviews and special projects as directed by senior risk leadership
* Collaborate with team members to identify emerging trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement
* Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations for senior leaders and stakeholders
* Engage in ongoing training and professional development to maintain subject matter expertise
* Foster a culture of proactive risk management and continuous improvement within the team
* Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and regulatory or policy projects as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Relavent Experience
* 4 years of experience in credit risk, credit analysis, or a related risk management function
* Demonstrated knowledge of credit risk principles, policies, and regulatory requirements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality
