Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1.

Weighs, measures, and combines spices according to recipe specifications.

2.

Refills spice barrels.

3.

Evaluates and tests the accuracy of the food scale.

4.

Labels completed dry mixes and stores in the warehouse.

5.

Cleans equipment according to company guidelines.

6.

Completes daily mixing schedule according to production schedule.

7.

Copies and distributes work schedules to mixing personnel.

8.

Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.

9.

Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

 

Job Specifications

1.

Production experience preferred.

2.

Must be able to follow directions in English.

 

Working Conditions

1.

Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.

2.

The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.

3.

Frequent exposure to food allergens.

4.

Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with items up to 50 lbs.

is required.

5.

Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.

6.

Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
