What are we looking for?

The Welding Inspector (NDT) is responsible for performing inspections on welded components using various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods to ensure compliance with codes, customer specifications, and quality standards.

This position will travel at least 5% of the time.

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, Various Shifts

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $45-$55 per hour based on relevant experience.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:


* Lead weld inspections using advanced or multiple NDT techniques (UT shear wave, PAUT, RT, MT, PT).


* Evaluate complex weld discontinuities and provide acceptance criteria per standards.


* Review, audit, and validate WPS/PQRs and welder qualifications.


* Provide technical guidance and training to Level I/II technicians.


* Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to engineers and clients.


* Assist in procedure development and continuous improvement activities.


* Attend project meetings and support client consultations.


* Ensure accuracy of inspection records, certifications, and equipment logs.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.


* 3-5+ years of welding inspection or NDT experience.


* AWS CWI or equivalent required (CWE, SCWI, CSW...
