Job Description:

HPE Networking is looking for an experienced Account Manager to assist in business development and strategic selling on the Verizon Infrastructure team.

The candidate should have experience in selling infrastructure including but not limited to the following areas: routing, switching, wireless, security, virtualization, and data center use cases.

The emphasis will be on expanding HPE Networking's footprint within Verizon by driving strategic projects, thought leadership and technology differentiation to maintain and break into new strategic franchises.

Responsibilities:


* Develops account plans and long-term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share.


* Focuses on larger deals/opportunities and value and/or volume portfolio management, and selling a range of company products and solutions.


* Works with management to develop future business plans; independently determines methods for achieving plans.


* Extensive time spent working with and leveraging a diverse set of external partners.


* Builds strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives, including C level Executives.


* Applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for the company.


* Maintains high-level of customer loyalty and builds trust and integrity, as indicated in company conducted surveys and reports.


* Develops business plan in conjunction with the customer.


* Analyzes client industry and competitive research and information to facilitate rich client dialogue.

Education and Experience Required:


* Minimum of 7+ years' experience selling into Verizon with a winning track record of opportunities and revenue growth


* Bachelor's degree and/or related experience


* Experience developing sales strategies and preparing proposals that are focused on solving our customer's business problems


* Experience in selling Core/Edge/Data Center/Security/Wireless solutions
