About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner, to join our supportive team at our Smithfield Vinidex manufacturing operation.
 

Ideally you will come from a similar role and enjoy working in a fast paced and innovative manufacturing environment, where your experience managing contractors, trades, organising annual shutdowns, and overseeing the spare parts inventory, including sourcing and purchasing specialty parts, will be pivotal to your success.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your day will also include scheduling maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, creating and closing out work orders, reviewing timeframes, root causes, patterns and frequency of maintenance events, to optimise performance and reliability of plant and equipment.

What will you do?


* Plan and co-ordinate all preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities including preparation of JSEA and issuing High risk Work Permits to ensure safety is at the forefront of everything we do.


* Plan and coordinate contractors, supervise and plan the work of the maintenance team to ensure minimal interruptions to manufacturing operations.


* Utilise MEX to plan preventative maintenance works, document all completed maintenance activities including breakdowns and maintain critical spare register and stock level.
