Digital Solutions Product Analyst

The Commercial Lines Underwriting (CLUW) team at Verisk is on a mission to transform how data collection can power decision-making in the insurance industry.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to:


* Define a product vision that anticipates industry trends and client needs.


* Manage and prioritize the product backlog to deliver features that matter most.


* Gather and champion user feedback, ensuring every solution is intuitive and effective.


* Drive the delivery of high-quality digital products that empower our field team and other internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:


* Product Vision and Roadmap: Assist in collaborating with stakeholders to define the product vision and create a detailed product roadmap based on strategic goals and market needs.


* Backlog Management: Help manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories to align with business objectives and customer needs.


* User Story Development: Assist in developing clear and concise user stories in Jira, ensuring they are well-defined and ready for development.


* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, risk engineering, marketing, sales, IT, and operations, to ensure effective delivery of product goals.


* Scrum and Agile Practices: Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team.


* Market and User Research: Collaborate with our users to understand and anticipate their needs, translating these insights into actionable product requirements.


* Feedback and Iteration: Maintain consistent communication with the operations team to ensure a smooth cycle of feedback, development, release, and support.


* Defect and Enhancement Management: Work with the product team and end-users to deliver solutions for defects and enhancements, ensuring continuous improvement of the product.


* Metrics and Analysis: Help analyze and evaluate the successful metrics of digital technologies, ensuring the product meets performance and user satisfaction goals.

Requirements:


* Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.


* Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., product management, software development, or business analysis).

Added experience working in a field representative role such as loss control or claims adjusting is a bonus.
