Compensation Lead
Job Summary:
Within the Corporate Finance Department, the Compensation Lead will lead the ongoing design, execution, and administration of Allegis compensation programs globally.
This role acts as an internal consultant and strategic business partner, making recommendations to meet current and future business needs while maintaining market competitiveness.
The Compensation Lead ensures pay programs support organizational objectives, partners with leadership and vendors, and ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
In-Office Requirement:
• Required in-office presence at least 4 days per week
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
• Develop and document compensation procedures to streamline global processes
• Monitor effectiveness of compensation policies and recommend revisions
• Maintain comprehensive salary structures and internal pay bands globally
• Lead compensation projects (e.g., geographic and skill set differentials)
• Promote pay equity through strong analytical skills and market data knowledge
• Advise senior leaders on internal pay philosophies vs.
external market data
• Provide guidance on pay decisions, policy interpretation, and job evaluation
• Serve as escalation point for complex compensation issues
• Support variable pay programs and identify technology tools for compensation processes
• Manage salary surveys and ensure compliance with regulations
• Maintain vendor relationships for compensation tools
• Perform audits and analysis to ensure consistent administration
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field
• Compensation certification preferred
• 5–7 years of progressive global compensation experience
• Prior management experience
• Advanced knowledge of compensation tools, job evaluation, and salary administration
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and influence at all organizational levels
