Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Onsite in Oak Ridge, TN

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

Job Summary

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in FMD provides mechanical engineering expertise to support the design and execution of projects involving data center construction, renovation, and other power and cooling–related infrastructure.

The engineer assists with developing mechanical design packages, reviewing technical documentation, and ensuring engineering deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and organizational requirements.

The role supports project managers, design leads, and cross-functional engineering teams throughout the project life cycle, from conceptual design through construction and commissioning.
