Community Services Assistant

The Riverside University Health System (RUHS) - Behavioral Health's Mental Health Transportation Division is seeking a dedicated Community Services Assistant to join our team!

The incumbent will be responsible for safely transporting clients-including individuals with disabilities-while ensuring timely, courteous, and professional service at all times.

Key duties include maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle, promptly reporting any damage or maintenance needs, and adhering to all transport protocols.

Clear and consistent communication with dispatch, clients, care teams, and other departments is essential, particularly regarding patient discharges, mobility needs, and overall transport logistics.

The incumbent will also be responsible for accurately tracking vehicle mileage and maintaining comprehensive records for all patient transports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with direct experience supporting individuals with disabilities.

EMT or ambulance transport experience is highly preferred, as is prior work in medical, emergency response, or other clinical care environments.

Candidates should be comfortable assisting clients with mobility challenges and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the transport process
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9/80 8:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.

Location: 3625 14th Street, Riverside, CA 92501

Physical Requirement: Ability to drive for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted with or without reasonable accommodation.
