This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management worker to join our team here in Wilkinson House.

As our Housing and Property specialist, you’ll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained.

Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!
 

Calling all night owls! Prefer staying awake and working through the night rather than snoozing away like the rest of us?  We’re looking for a dedicated night Housing Management Worker who won’t fall asleep on the job.

If you’re as energised as a new Duracell bunny with the alert skills of a meerkat, this is the job for you!

What you’ll do


* Customer group - Working with customers who have experienced homelessness with a variety of support needs including but not limited to offending, mental/physical health and substance misuse.


* Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, you’ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.


* Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.


* To support the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, you’ll turn around vacant or void rooms within set timescales.

This will involve picking up a broom or paint brush!


* You’ll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities making sure we’re compliant.


* You’ll also manage the admin updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done

You have


* A background in property management, but that’s not a deal breaker! Perhaps you’ve worked in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks?


* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.


* The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.


* Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners


* Passion for property and get a thrill out of knowing that your properties are the best they can be for our customers!
