Transportation Coordinator for Crisis Services

There is a place for you at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health!Highland Rivers provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness; substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.Are you ready to make a Difference?Job Summary: The Transportation Coordinator supervises a team of Vehicle Operators who will provide transportation for individuals upon discharge from the Crisis Facilities.

Transportation may be needed between the HRBH Crisis Facilities, to the individual's home, or to a long-term care facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


* Supervise a team of Vehicle Operators, providing training, coaching and administrative supervision, documenting is all in the Kronos system.


* Coordinates transportation of individuals to their home or to long term treatment facilities from the crisis units and/or Wateroak Lodge/ Woodbine Villa.


* Complete and maintain all reports and transportation logs.


* Ensure vehicles are maintained and reports turned in to the Health & Safety officer each month.


* Follows established policies and procedures regarding transportation of individuals and follows establish policies and procedures regarding calling in for unscheduled absences.


* Uses initiative and judgement to assure that circumstances requiring special attention (i.e.

individual acting out) are referred to the supervisor and or director.


* Other duties as assigned.
