Major Account Representative

Job Description

As a Major Account Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing and improving the financial health of AutoZone's commercial accounts.

You will work closely with various teams to ensure accounts remain in good standing and provide valuable insights to management.

Responsibilities



* Collaborate with chain account management, CCS (outside credit vendor), and AutoZone management to resolve accounts receivable issues.


* Develop and maintain KPI reports on account performance.


* Provide periodic updates and recommendations to management on key performance metrics.


* Evaluate accounts to recommend credit limit adjustments and potential service suspensions.


* Offer management insights into customer solvency and creditworthiness.


* Assess and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.


* Develop and lead project plans for changes.


* Work with various departments, such as Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to create training materials for sales teams and customers about credit options and special handling issues.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:



* Education: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent


* Experience: You bring Three to five years direct experience in Finance/Accounting and/or Account Management


* Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access,) and FoxPro
