Job Description
Assistant in the preparation of information and review for bids, consisting of: attending design exchange meetings to collect project information, analysis of plans for the concept catalog, review and adjustment volumes, preparation comparisons of economic proposals received , review, negotiation and closing budgets.
In addition to supporting the review of change orders at the closing of the work.
Responsibilities
* Collection of project information through attendance at design Exchange meetings, analysis of plans and clarification of doubts with the design department for adjust the concept catalog template according to the project needs and send an email notification of the bidding is ready to the procurement, design, construction, real estate and permitting departments.
* Revision of the selected economic proposal resulted of the bidding process, conciliating final volumes and quantities in order to optimize it before the contract, or review internally the project if the economic proposals received from General contractors exceed the estimated costs, doing a detailed revision of the project considerations with design and Construction, so we can lower costs and quantities , verifying that the total cost fits in with the site's Proforma approved, this position Works closely with Store Dev Finance and Internal Control to provide a summary of deviations, considered in the proforma, presenting the supporting documentation when exist a Cost overrun."
* Gives support to Construction area with change orders revision, by reviewing the CHOs format and back up information sent by the general contractors, always keeping a close communication with the Construction Project Manager to validate the information received, helping to accelerate our capitalization time frame for each site.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
* Architect, civil engineer
* 3 to 5 years
* Costs and budgets
* Well administrated, work under pressure
* Proactive, negotiation skills, organization
