The Corporate Security Lead, assigned to a specific client, will assist security leadership with crucial safety measures and protocols at client designated locations.

The Lead assists in the maintenance of secure environments, provides necessary technical support, and facilitates responses to incidents while contributing to risk assessments and mitigation strategies under the direction of the security management team.

Responsibilities



* Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.


* Provide comprehensive support in the production of badges, access control, access level management and video management system administration.


* Ensure adherence to policies and procedures of access control management and audit these processes to maintain standards of control and compliance.


* Escalate access control and video management issues to signature security integrator for any maintenance, repair, or installation of physical security hardware and associated systems.


* Assist in the development, implementation, and on-going update efforts of security policies, procedures, and training materials.


* Conduct audits and support internal audit programs in providing evidence of physical security controls and procedures.


* Assist in maintaining and implementing business continuity plans, travel risk management procedures, and workplace violence training.


* Respond to and manage security incidents, disruptions, and emergencies, providing appropriate solutions to minimize impact at the direction of security leadership.


* Issue badges to support new employee orientation.


* Enable and disable badge access as required.


* Perform weekly access control/attendance reporting at client sites.


* Provide event security assistance, as needed.


* All other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Criminal Justice, Law, Security Management or a related field is preferred and minimum four years of experience in corporate security or related fields.

Current IL PERC required.



* Knowledge of security access control systems and camera systems, such as Pro-Watch.


* Understanding of s ecurity management, policies, and best practices.


* Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.
