* Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related discipline from an accredited institution


* 4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

* Knowledge of the Howmet EHS policies/procedures and self-assessment/audit process is preferable

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Leadership


* Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the site's safety management system to ensure a proactive, risk-based approach to injury and fatality prevention.


* Partner with plant leadership and employees to identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and drive the elimination or mitigation of risks.


* Lead and facilitate incident prevention, investigation, and root cause analysis, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare documentation and reports to appropriate agencies, as needed.


* Collaborates in the development and implementation of EHS policy and procedures.


* Maintains records and documents as they pertain to the EHS Management System.


* Provides oversight of location EHS self-assessment (audit) process and coaching of location Single Point Accountable (SPAs) persons.


* Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to integrate EHS considerations into new equipment design, process changes, and capital projects.
