Registered Nurse (Imaging)

This position is Sign-On Bonus Eligible.

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for our Imaging Center which features the most advanced suite of imaging technologies between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Our MRIs and CT scanners, concierge-style service, and an attentive staff provide an atmosphere of clinical excellence and a superior patient experience.

Our advanced technology includes the GE Signa HDX 3.0 Tesla MRI, Siemens Open Bore 1.5 Tesla MRI, and GE Revolution 256-slice volume CT scanner.

Qualifications:

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.

Education:


* Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:


* Minimum: California Registered Nurse (RN) license


* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association


* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association

Years of Related Work Experience:


* Minimum: The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years' recent cath lab, interventional radiology, critical care, or emergency room experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


* Phlebotomy skills preferred


* Telemetry monitoring experience preferred


* Post-anesthesia monitoring experience preferred


* Sedation monitoring experience preferred


* Comfortable with adult and pediatric patients


* Pre-procedure scheduling knowledge


* Ability to work independently and collaboratively


* Strong organizational skills
