Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Antelope Valley Care Center

* Direct and supervise nursing assistants to ensure daily functions are carried out in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations.


* Oversee resident care delivery, making rounds to evaluate residents' physical and emotional status, and ensure care plans are followed.


* Administer and document medications and treatments accurately, ensuring compliance with physician orders and facility protocols.


* Complete and maintain required documentation (nursing notes, incident reports, care plans, physician orders, census reports, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner.


* Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes, including orientation of residents/families, updating records, and coordinating with other departments.


* Lead and support assigned nursing personnel, including staffing assignments, performance feedback, and training to maintain high standards of care.


* Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including diagnostic services, rehabilitation, and social activities.


* Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures, monitoring personnel adherence to established standards.


* Support quality assurance and survey readiness, participating in inspections, audits, and policy updates as needed.


* Maintain professional licensure and certifications while actively engaging in continuing education, staff development, and in-service training programs.
