Application Developer Intern

What will you do?


* Provide support and solutions for application-related issues to clients, users, and Schneider Electric employees.


* Participate in software development activities.


* Assist in the support, follow-up, and creation of low-complexity applications/projects.


* Contribute to UI design proposals.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?


* Programming:
+ Solid understanding of Java fundamentals (syntax, data types, control structures, OOP).
+ Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
+ Experience with Java 8+.
+ Basic understanding of REST APIs.
+ Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum).



* Databases: Basic knowledge of SQL.


* Tools & Frameworks: Java, Spring, Angular 19+, PrimeFaces, Bootstrap.


* Software: Familiarity with command-line tools (Linux / Windows).

Soft Skills:


* Continuous learning mindset.


* Teamwork and effective communication.


* Attention to detail and logical thinking.


* Proactivity in solving simple technical problems.


* User support and service orientation.

* Active student in majors such as Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Application Development, or related fields.


* Expected graduation date: December 2026 or later.


* English level:
+ Speaking: Basic-Intermediate.
+ Reading: Intermediate (especially for technical documentation).
