Summary

Coordinates and controls special Engineering projects and guest room preventative maintenance under the direct supervision of the Chief Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer.

Performs guest room preventative maintenance inspections and work required either alone or as a team leader.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Duties:

· Organizes daily and project-based work assigned to them and other employees assisting engineers in the department.

· Ensures quality control and work standards are maintained and regularly updated to meet changing department and property needs.

· Maintains inventories of engineering supplies, guestroom preventative maintenance supplies, preventative maintenance logs and guestroom check sheets.

Submits purchase orders to maintain equipment and supply pars.

· Maintains records of pumps, motors and supplies used in different mechanical areas.

· Assists Chief Engineer with evaluation of deficiencies and development of scope of work.
