Job Description:

Surgery (ETHICON) is recruiting for a Co-Op position in the Commercial Operations, located in Zug/Switzerland 

The Comm Ops team develops and deploys strategies with the respective ETHICON Divisions Organization.  This includes ETHICON & ETHICON ENDO SURGERY.  The team supports Field Sales Consultant in to achieve growth.

This role is the liaison between the team that supports Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain relative to end-to-end efficient order/purchase order management.  

Key Responsibilities: 


* Develop and deploy strategies in collaboration with Field Sales Consultant to recommend sales growth objectives through ensuring that field assets are deployed to the appropriate targets. 


* Recommend strategy for deploying new assets, exchanging expiring equipment, and providing valuable sales data to optimize inventory. 



* Assist in support of New Product Introduction (NPI) launches and new set deployments to field sales. 


* Provide support to Field Sales Consultant; learn sales systems that drive efficiencies in the end-to-end sales process. 


* Support Incentive Compensation projects and analysis 
 
Qualifications - Education and Experience:


* A completed bachelor's or ongoing master's degree in life sciences (biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, medicine) or a mathematical‑technical / computer‑science background with an interest in health economics


* Knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system

 

Qualifications - Skills:



* A high level of enthusiasm and a keen interest in the MedTech industry


* Excellent German, French or Italian, as well as very good English skills; other languages ​​are a plus


* Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and common visualization tools (eg Power BI)


* Applied programming and data analysis skills (eg Java, SQL)


* Able to understand scientific data and to translate these into a practical narrative


* Team spirit, creativity, proactivity and a strong organizational talent
