Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a IT Automation Test Analyst to join our team located in Shockwave Medical Costa Rica.

Position Overview:

The IT Automation Test Analyst configures and prepares automated testing in the OpKey platform (and other test automation tools as needed) to ensure reliable, repeatable test execution.

This role designs test parameter sets, creates and maintains test data and environments, maps business scenarios to OpKey artifacts and equivalent platform configurations, and ensures traceability between requirements and test configurations.

Essential Job Functions:


* Configure automated test cases and suites in OpKey, including test parameters, input data, environment settings, preconditions, and scheduling details.


* Translate functional requirements and business processes into OpKey test configurations and parameterized test scenarios.


* Create, manage, and version test data and coordinate test environment provisioning to ensure readiness for test execution.


* Maintain the OpKey test library; ensure traceability between requirements, test configurations, and test artifacts.


* Prepare runbooks, configuration guides, and hand-off instructions so QA/Test Engineers or Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines can execute tests consistently.


* Integrate OpKey artifacts with CI/CD and test execution tooling where applicable, coordinate scheduling and hand-off to the execution team or automation pipeline.


* Review automated run reports and logs to identify configuration issues and coordinate with testers or developers to investigate failures.


* Provide first-level OpKey administration and troubleshooting (user access, configuration errors, environment connectivity) and escalate tool issues as needed.


* Work closely with functional analysts, QA/Test Engineers, and developers to identify candidate business scenarios for automation and to keep test coverage aligned with business priorities.


* Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase automation efficiency, improve configuration reusability, and strengthen test traceability and documentation.
