You’ll be a strategic force behind ERM’s growth in North America, guiding clients through the full lifecycle of capital project development—from site selection and stakeholder engagement to permitting, construction, and decommissioning.

What You'll Bring
You’re a seasoned consultant and business developer with a passion for energy and infrastructure.
You thrive in dynamic environments, inspire teams, and build trusted relationships with clients.
You bring:
Required
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
Or equivalent experience.
* 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or industry roles related to permitting and impact assessment.
* Proven success in leading complex permitting programs across sectors (e.g., power, oil & gas, mining).
* Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance strategies.
* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering client-facing projects.
Preferred
* Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA, PhD) in a relevant discipline.
* Experience with renewable energy permitting and transmission infrastructure.
* Familiarity with Indigenous and community engagement practices.
* Bilingual capabilities (e.g., Spanish, French) are a plus.
* Demonstrated commitment to DEIB and health & safety excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Development: Cultivate and expand relationships with major energy clients, delivering strategic insights and exceptional service.
* Business Growth: Drive commercial strategies to win new business and grow ERM’s Capital Project Development practice.
* Project Leadership: Oversee delivery teams, ensure quality and compliance, and manage stakeholder-facing engagements.
