Health Psychologist - Generalist

Work Schedule :

50% FTE, days.

This is a hybrid position.

When in person, you will work at 2275 Deming Way in Middleton, WI.

We are seeking a Health Psychologist to:


* Work primarily in a generalist capacity with approximately four hours/week dedicated to seeing patients with chronic pain.


* Evaluate and treat patients with medical and mental health concerns, requiring short term behavioral interventions.


* Collaborate with medical professionals as well as patients to design specific goals for brief treatment.


* Provide consultation to patient and family using evidenced based treatment modalities.


* Utilize screening measures to monitor progress and outcomes to assess benefits of treatment.

Education


* Doctorate Degree Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field Required

Work Experience


* 1 year of post-doc experience in the area of Behavioral Health in a medical setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications


* Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in state of practice.

This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.

Required


* Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) for treatment of patients primarily in ambulatory settings Upon Hire Required


* CPR/BLS within 6 months Required
