Sales Representative- Florida

About the Role

The Foodservice Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving Hoffmaster's growth within the foodservice market.

You'll build and nurture relationships with end-user customers including restaurants, caterers, hotels, healthcare facilities, and universities while partnering closely with broadline and foodservice paper distributors to expand distribution and increase sales.

From developing new business to leading distributor meetings and attending key industry events, you'll help strengthen Hoffmaster's presence and deliver tabletop disposables and packaging solutions that meet customer needs.

What You'll Do


* Identify market potential by qualifying accounts and uncovering new end-user opportunities.


* Schedule appointments, deliver sales presentations, and understand account requirements to initiate and advance the sales process.


* Build rapport with potential customers, communicate product features and benefits, overcome objections, and prepare price quotes to close sales.


* Expand business within existing accounts by introducing new products and strengthening relationships with distributor sales reps and end-user contacts.


* Conduct business reviews and lead sales meetings and presentations with key contacts at broadline and foodservice paper distributors.


* Monitor competitive activity and customer feedback to inform market strategy and product recommendations.


* Attend trade shows, food shows, and key industry events as needed to represent Hoffmaster and generate new business.


* Recommend solutions based on customer needs while maintaining strong product knowledge and staying current on training and market trends.


* Support marketing and organizational goals by achieving related business results and contributing to team initiatives.


* Prioritize tasks and execute effectively to meet company objectives while actively solving customer and account challenges.

What We're Looking For


* Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.


* 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably within the foodservice industry.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.


* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


* Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight trips for HQ visits, customer meetings, and industry events.
