Sr Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for divisional reporting and functional budget responsibilities of Elbit America.

Responsibilities and Tasks:



* Coordinate with operational functions to create annual budget



* Completion of annual overhead rate forecast for all functional and site pools



* Completion of Overhead rate monitoring monthly, including coordination with functional owners to identify difference drivers, both direct and indirect elements.



* Coordination of monthly & quarterly divisional financial reporting package; actual reporting, variance to forecast and forecast updates.



* Prepare and monitor working capital balances and forecast.



* Take initiative to create and improve processes.



* Special projects as requested and assigned.

Consulting Relationships:


* Division Managers



* Functional Managers including Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Leads



* US Parent Representatives including CFO/CAO



* Accounting leadership including Controller/Assistant Controller/Cost Accounting Manager

Education, Experience/Knowledge & License/Certification:


* Master degree is preferred


* Bachelor's degree is required, Specific Degree Field Required: Accounting or Finance related.


* 5-10 years of functional (using skill set) experience is required


* 1-3 years of industry experience is required


* Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):
+ ESD
+ Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department

Skills and Abilities:


* Ability to analyze problems & provide innovative solutions.


* Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (FASB) and their application.


* Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).


* Must possess high standards of ethics and integrity.


* Excellent written and verbal communications skills to communicate with all levels of staff.


* Strong relationship building skills.


* Prefer 1-3 years progressive financial experience in a defense/ manufacturing environment.

Travel/Physical Requirements:


* Position may be required up to 10% travel.
