Job Description:

The Trade Operation Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating international trade activities, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

This role involves handling import and export documentation, liaising with customs and logistics providers, and supporting overall trade operations to enhance business performance.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 


* Import & Export Operations


*
+ Oversee the entire import and export process, including documentation, shipping, and customs clearance.
 Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
 Coordinate with freight forwarders, Warehouses, Inland transporter and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery.
 Monitor shipments and resolve any logistical or regulatory issues.
 Month-end Closing (IR request, AP request for import/export related expenses)



* Documentation & Compliance


*
+ Prepare and review trade documents (Import requirement, Invoices, packing lists, CoA, CoO, BL etc.).
 Ensure accurate filing and maintenance of trade-related records.
 Stay updated on trade policies, tariffs, and regulatory changes affecting the business.
 Work with internal teams to ensure adherence to trade compliance standards.



* Supply Chain & Logistics Support

+ Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
 Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for smooth trade transactions.
 Analyze trade data and provide reports on operational performance.



* Cross-functional Collaboration

+ Work closely with Planning, Finance, CQ, RA and procurement teams to align trade operations with business goals.
Support internal stakeholders in resolving trade-related issues.
Provide trade data for business support.
