Project Engineer

Cornell Pump Company is a prominent leader in the centrifugal pump industry with over 75 years of experience and continuous growth.

Our manufacturing facilities located in Clackamas, OR, Vancouver, WA, and Rock Hill, SC, allow us to serve diverse markets such as Agriculture, Industrial, Municipal, Rental, and Mining.

We're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our on-site team in Mount Pleasant, WI.

In this role, you'll lead innovative pump design projects, drive product development, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and sales to deliver exceptional solutions.

What You'll Do:


* Implement and own SolidWorks PDM.


* Implement quality management systems.

Work across functions with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.


* Manage a process and CAD work for re-drawing legacy 2D drawings into 3D.


* Assist with design and development projects for new and legacy products.


* Develop project proposals detailing costs, projected value, and schedules.


* Stay informed on product lines, market demands, customer trends, and industry standards.


* Provide technical support across departments (sales, manufacturing, and engineering), including troubleshooting, product application, value engineering, and problem-solving.

What We're Looking For:


* Hands-on experience leading ERP and QMS implementations


* Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and PDM


* A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field


* Minimum five years of relevant industry experience


* Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred


* Formal SolidWorks training or certifications preferred
