ROLE OVERVIEW: The position works cross-functionally with senior management to help implement the necessary infrastructure to ensure a safe and productive environment, under the general supervision of the Plant manager, supporting WL Maintenance team, and ensuring that industrial machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably.

 Plans, designs, implements, and optimizes mechanical and manufacturing systems to improve plant performance, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.

Applies engineering principles to develop and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement across production operations, supporting WL and all Fiber Plants.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead design, automation, and optimization initiatives for mechanical and manufacturing systems to increase throughput, quality, and reliability.


* Manage Maintenance and engineering projects focused on process automation, system reliability, and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.


* Develop and implement data-driven preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies using reliability engineering methodologies such as RCA, FMEA, and MTBF/MTTR modeling to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
