Maintenance Coordinator
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of plant equipment and facilities through effective planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
This position serves as the link between operations, purchasing, and maintenance teams, driving proactive maintenance strategies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Planning & Scheduling: ⢠Coordinate with operations, purchasing, maintenance personnel and management to plan and schedule maintenance activities ⢠Manage and update work orders, equipment records, and preventive maintenance plans using CMMS system ⢠Estimate resources required for work orders (time, materials) to develop total maintenance costs ⢠Ensure availability of required parts, tools, and materials before scheduling work ⢠Collaborate with operations and other stakeholders to prepare for scheduled maintenance ⢠Maintain master equipment files and job plans in both digital and physical formats ⢠Identify critical components and establish safety stock levels to minimize downtime ⢠Support Lean (MS-168) elements and other maintenance best practices ⢠Develop and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) to optimize maintenance efficiency ⢠Use maintenance planning best practices to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, safety, and quality of operation Storeroom & Inventory Management: ⢠Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient supply room ⢠Conduct regular physical inventories of parts in supply room and maintenance parts cabinets throughout facility ⢠Submit requisitions for determinable materials and verif y deliveries of parts and supplies ⢠Assist technicians in locating and issuing parts for repairs ⢠Utilize CMMS program to receive and issue parts from stock RPM Industrial Coatings Group Job Description: Maintenance Coordinator Job Description: Maintenance Coordinator 10/30/25 ⢠Communicate with vendors for timely procurement and distribution of materials ⢠Support asset tracking programs and perform light clerical tasks ⢠Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
