Director, Finance Business Partner - Loyalty & Partnerships
Lead Finance Business Partnering across various Loyalty program revenue streams and expenses by engaging directly with the business and other key stakeholders to drive strategic efforts for business growth and increased profitability
Your day to day
* Develop and manage key relationships with respective business leaders to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans.
Review financial performance and challenge existing strategies and/or recommend alternative strategies to continually improve key financial and winnings metrics
* Enhance existing analytical and financial model frameworks and perform tactical interventions with the business to close gaps vs.
plan and achieve project delivery, challenging senior leadership where required
* Manage the preparation of effective reports and presentations for various committee and leadership meetings and other such events. Summarize and present data to executive management, along with potential recommendations
* Develop appropriate performance and benchmark measures for cost functions. Consult with management to establish target performance levels and strategies for ongoing improvement in efficiencies of operations and processes
* Act as Finance lead for various signing/renewals of loyalty-related partnerships and integrate new loyalty initiatives into the current revenue and expense control system, as appropriate. Work with senior management to define control and reporting requirements for new business. May provide research data and financial analysis components to senior management concerning the cost effectiveness and potential profitability of new business ventures
* Ensure compliance is maintained with current accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure they are accurate, complete and effective. Ensure compliance is maintained with company policies, laws, rules and regulations
* Play a proactive role in identifying opportunities to make the broader Finance team more efficient and effective, supporting the execution of new technology and ideas where applicable
* Coach and develop team members.
Act as advisor to staff to help meet established schedules and/or resolve technical or operational problems
What we need from you
* Demonstrated ability to assess and understand a variety of internal and external economic and financial issues which impact the business, analyze data and forecast future business trends, and develop effective financial plans based on businesses assessments
* Demonstrated experience in leading and developing people
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to address all levels within the organization and ability to gain consensus
* Demonstrated knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes and regulations, along with demonstrated knowledge of capital projects management standards and techniques and US GAAP...
