Product Architect - Electromechanical (Low Voltage Control and Switchgear)

Position Objective

The Product Architect will be responsible for defining and driving the technical roadmap, architecture, and system-level design of low voltage control and switchgear products.

This role requires deep domain expertise in electromechanical systems, a strong understanding of global standards, and the ability to innovative, manufacturable, and cost-effective product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Define product architecture and system-level design for low voltage electromechanical control and protection devices such as contactors, relays, MPCBs, and motor starters.

* Lead technical strategy and innovation

* Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, UL, CSA, ISO) and regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

* Guide cross-functional teams through concept development, feasibility studies, prototyping, and design validation.

* Drive standardization, modularity, and reuse across product lines to optimize cost, quality, and time-to-market.

* Evaluate and select materials, components, and manufacturing processes suitable for high-performance and reliable operation.

* Conduct design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and ensure robust design practices (DFM/DFA, tolerance stack-up, etc.).

* Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure design intent is maintained through production.
