The Enterprise Data Steward for SAP Vendor Domain is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of vendor master data across J&J systems.
This role serves as the subject matter expert for vendor data, driving data quality initiatives, compliance with global standards, and alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Vendor Master Data Governance: Define and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for vendor data creation, maintenance, and deactivation in SAP.
* Data Quality Management: Define and implement data quality tests based on established data standards and business rules.
Monitor and improve data quality through profiling, cleansing, and validation activities.
Collaborate with business units to resolve data issues.
* SAP Stewardship: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT for vendor data-related SAP enhancements.
Define system configurations, requirements for integrations, and data migrations rules from legacy systems.
* Metadata & Lineage Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of vendor data definitions, lineage, and usage across systems.
* Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure vendor data complies with internal controls, audit requirements, and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
* Collaboration & Training: Partner with procurement, finance, and compliance teams to align vendor data practices.
Develop training materials, deliver training, and provide ongoing support to system users and data entry teams.
* Continuous Improvement: Support business and IT teams to improve efficiency of established business processes.
