Sr. System Consultant - Recording Studio (Onsite - Washington, D.C.)

Maximus is looking for a Sr.
System Consultant - Recording Studio in support of the Helpdesk and IT Support Program.
The Sr.
System Consultant - Recording Studio will provide proactive, white-glove customer service a wide range of IT support services in the field of radio and television broadcasting.
In addition to those duties, the Sr.
System Consultant will provide primary support for IT systems in the Recording Studio offices and in the client's Executive Office.
The technical skills required of the Sr.
System Consultant include network engineering, systems integration, graphics, office automation support, hardware/software troubleshooting, interface with application vendors, systems analysis/programming, and web development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead reviews and analyze efficiencies of systems
- Analyze system data and performance reports to identify trends and business impact.
- Mentor IT Application Analysts in data analysis and process improvements
- Interact with all levels within the organization; develop working relationships with management, staff, stakeholders and business partners
- Participate in meetings and evaluate outcomes to ensure needs of project stakeholders are being met
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Customer Support and Communication
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required to prepare and deliver technical briefings and reports to government staff and/or hardware and software vendors.
- Ability to effectively teach technical concepts to customers, ensuring clear understanding and proper usage of technology.
-Develop training programs for client staff that include basic troubleshooting diagnostics for client staff members' respective systems and hardware.
- Develop preventative maintenance programs and backup/redundancy systems to ensure that the Recording Studio has uninterrupted operations.
- As new technologies are introduced into the market, the Sr.
System Consultant will research, evaluate, test, and make recommendations to the client on an ongoing basis.
Once an acquisition has been made, the Sr.
System Consultant will be responsible for developing an implementation plan; installing, configuring, and testing hardware; training staff; and updating the documentation.
- Support all aspects of the operations, including computer support in relation to coverage of client broadcasts, and the following departments:
1.
Client's television studios,
2.
Audio studios,
3.
Post-production (including graphics),
4.
Closed captioning rooms,
5.
CER/Tech Core/Data Center,
a.
Scheduling and billing systems,
b.
Streaming audio/video servers, and
c.
Web server
