About the Role

The Switchgear Engineering Manager is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.

This role involves leading and managing the sales team, setting sales goals, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the sales team's alignment with the company's overall objectives.

What You'll Do:
1.

Sales Strategy and Planning:
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
+ Set clear and measurable sales targets, both short-term and long-term, and create actionable plans to achieve them.



* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt the sales strategy as needed.


* Review and understand the Project Engineering contract documents


* Read and interpret SLD, data sheet, specifications and other project-related documents such as building layout, equipment plan view, and electrical schematics

Team Leadership and Management:
+ Lead and inspire the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to maximize their potential.
+ Build and maintain a high-performance sales team by recruiting, training, and evaluating sales professionals.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales department.



* Mentors junior Engineers, switchgear specialists and project managers

Revenue Generation:
+ Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market reach, and maximizing sales to existing customers.
+ Develop and nurture relationships with key clients and partners to secure strategic accounts and partnerships.
+ Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet or exceed revenue targets.
