Work Schedule:

80% FTE.

You will work four days per week primarily between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional need to work past 5:00 pm.

No weekends or holidays.

You will work at the UW Health Carbone Cancer Center, in Johnson Creek, WI.

We are seeking a chemo certified and experienced oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to:


* Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses and providers that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients in the Oncology Clinic.


* Connect and form therapeutic relationships with patients in a supportive environment.


* Care for patients receiving medical and radiation oncology services, chemotherapy treatments and clinical trials in an ambulatory setting.


* Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage and MyChart.

Qualifications



* Graduate of school of nursing Required


* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience



* 6 months of RN experience Required


* Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred


* Ambulatory experience Preferred


* Relevant oncology experience Preferred


* Chemotherapy experience Preferred


* Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required


* Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required


* Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
