As our Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry, you’ll be the right hand of the Pastry Chef de Partie, helping to craft exquisite desserts and beautifully balanced sweet creations that delight our guests.
You’ll whisk, pipe, temper, laminate, and bake your way through an array of pastries, plated desserts, delicately crafted petits fours, and seasonal specials all while upholding the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
Every detail matters, from the gloss of a perfect ganache to the crumble of a flawless tart base.
This role isn’t just about technique.
It’s about passion a passion for pastry artistry, for creating visually stunning and delicious moments, for maintaining a pristine and efficient workspace, and for being part of a team that values artisanship, collaboration, and curiosity.
What you’ll bring:
* At least 2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef ideally within a dedicated pastry section in a 4 or 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant
* A City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ equivalent
* A deep respect for food hygiene and safety, with documentation as immaculate as your station
* The ability to stay calm, organized, and focused under pressure with a smile and most importantly: a genuine love for pastry, service, and creating memorable experiences for guests.
