What You'll Do


* Safely transports residents to and from medical appointments, community outings, and other scheduled destinations.


* Assists residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.


* Conducts pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.


* Keeps the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition.


* Complies with all traffic laws, facility safety policies, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.


* Assists the Maintenance Director with routine maintenance and repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping tasks.


* Performs basic building inspections and reports safety or maintenance concerns.


* Helps set up or move furniture and equipment as needed.


* Responds to work orders promptly and ensures timely completion of assigned tasks.


* Participates in safety drills and supports emergency preparedness activities as assigned.

What You Bring


* High school diploma or equivalent (GED).


* Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred but not required.


* Minimum of one (1) year of driving experience, preferably transporting elderly or disabled individuals.


* Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair preferred.
