Vice President, Product Design - Onboarding Client and Advisor Experience
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a talented and experienced Vice President of Product Design to lead the design strategy and execution for our client and advisor onboarding experience.
This role will be responsible for elevating the onboarding journey, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and impactful experiences for both clients and advisors.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class design solutions that drive business outcomes and enhance user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Design Strategy: Collaborate with other designers to drive the end-to-end design vision for client and advisor onboarding experiences, with a focus on where the experiences connect to ensure the full program aligns with business goals and user needs.
* Elevate Design Quality: Champion high standards for design excellence, usability, and accessibility across all onboarding touchpoints.
* Design System: Understand, adopt and evolve design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency in product development.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and deliver impactful products.
* User-Centered Approach: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and continuously improve the onboarding experience.
* Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in product design, with a focus on digital experiences.
- Proven experience elevating design quality and leading design initiatives in complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with product managers and engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work in client and advisor onboarding or similar domains.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
