Role Purpose:
The Director is responsible for leading and directing overall operations-related activities for Customs & Gateways functions.

This role involves leading and developing a high-performing team, into a GPTW environment, connecting with the organizational road map success, driving operational excellence, safety, connecting local & global network, overseeing, and optimizing the operations to ensure efficient and timely processing of shipments, in compliance with Customs regulation and DHL policies.
Director leads a complex logistics operation, managing 146 HC, ensuring on-time and cost-effective operations in a complex customs operation, leading regulatory adherence, brokerage services, and operational excellence.
Regulatory is a critical and strategic focus of the role, ensuring customs and labor regulatory compliance, managing relationships with government, authorities, and international trade regulators, optimizing international trade flow and DHL’s global connectivity.
Since the role, the Director supports the achievement of the country road map, through the compliance and efficiency of the process, promoting the innovation, develops and implement efficiency initiatives or projects of service improvements, and cost-control measures, strengthening DHL’s position as a leader in service in the market, with Customs and trade compliance.
