About Our Facility: Our innovative production facility in Norderstedt produces around 95 million pieces of surgical suture materials and other medical technology products annually.

The Operations Controlling department plays a vital role as a Finance Business Partner, providing crucial support, advice, and guidance to departments within our Supply Chain, such as Production and Quality, to help achieve our annual business objectives.

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and diligent  Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Operations Controlling Team! From day one, you will contribute to our team across various functions while gradually assuming an independent area of responsibility that will expand with your experience.

Key Responsibilities:


* Support planning activities in our production sectors, including budget and headcount planning.


* Complete and improve monthly reporting, including addressing ad hoc requests.


* Analyze and evaluate monthly budgeted versus actual costs, identify deviations, conduct root cause analyses, and formulate actionable recommendations to meet business goals.


* Collaborate on projects.


* Drive and initiate optimization initiatives for our financial and business processes.


* Advise and partner with internal business partners on all finance-related topics, facilitating informed decision-making.

Qualifications:


* A completed university degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Finance.


* 1 to 4 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably within the manufacturing sector.


* Demonstrate passion and adaptability in facing new challenges, with ability to communicate and engage effectively with diverse partners.


* Exhibit strong analytical skills, flexibility, and a high level of dedication.


* Take ownership and proactively address new tasks and projects, with an unwavering focus on achieving results and customer happiness.


* Hold proficiency in Excel and experience with an ERP system (SAP 4/HANA preferred), alongside excellent German and English language skills.
