Intertek is searching for a Remote Business Development Manager to join our Business Assuranceteam.

What are we looking for?

The Business Development Manager is responsible for lead response (including RFP's) and direct sales activities within the Business Assurance service portfolio.

You will be responsible for promoting and selling Intertek's end-to-end services to companies across multiple sectors with a focus on Food Safety management systems.

(SQF, FSSC22000, IFS, BRC, HACCP, GMP)

What you'll do:


* Sales of Intertek audit, certification and learning product/solutions within a given territory


* Manage and maintain full visibility of progress against leads and opportunities, notably a pipeline and ensuring exceptional CRM data input & accurate reporting


* Provide account management services and develop new business with existing clients.


* Present Intertek solutions and services to clients through direct communications in face to face meetings, video, telephone calls or email


* Consistently meet and exceed sales targets set yearly

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent


* 5 years of professional sales experience in the ATIC industry- Ideally in the food sector


* Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrate full knowledge of the sales process


* Must be able to consistently close deals to achieve order and revenue targets.


* Ability to effectively influence client decisions and negotiate competitive deals.


* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)


* Must demonstrate customer focus and strong relationship building skills


* Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines


* Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
