Intertek's project-related assurance, testing, inspection and consulting services are the risk management and quality assurance partner you need to ensure the reliability, safety and performance of your new developments, existing assets and facilities.

Intertek's Building Science Solutions (BSS) group is primarily focused on building enclosure consulting, commissioning, and field performance testing for new construction and retrofit projects.

What are we looking for?

The Acoustics Consultant will assist project team members to ensure the success of projects during various phases of design and construction.

The work will also include design assist services and construction administration support, in addition to field testing.

This position will travel frequently within and outside the local area, depending on workloads and project locations; estimate is 25%.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-1PM (Approximately 25 hours per week)

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage for this position is $40 - $55 per hour .

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:



* Assist with acoustic projects nationally, including testing, modeling, and consulting services for new and existing buildings



* Prepare and review deliverables such as proposals, specifications, reports, and construction document sets



* Drive innovation and expand service offerings in key strategic areas of acoustical consulting and field testing



* Performconstruction administration services and site visits



* Prepare professionally written field reports

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:



* Bachelor's Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Architecture, or acoustics related field



* 5+ years of acoustics consulting experience



* Construction administration, progress observation and site inspection experience



* Ability toefficiently work on multiple projects, simultaneously,in a team environment



* Excellent organizational and project management skills
