Mohs Surgical Assistant
Join the Dermatology team as a Mohs Surgical Assistant (MA-C)
Must have active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential
Hiring Wage: generally between $25.30-$30.70 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience
Location: Gateway Two (2621 NE 134th Street - Vancouver, WA 98686)
Schedule: Monday through Friday - four, 10-hour days (7:00a-5:30p) and day off TBD
In this role you will ensure that instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized and available as needed, provide hands-on assisting with Mohs procedures and wound closures/repairs, and assist with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens.
In addition, the Mohs assistant will assist the dermatology providers in day-to-day dermatology patient flow.
Dermatology experience, preferred .
Requirements:
* Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified
* Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
* Working knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization practices.
* Two years of experience in an outpatient surgery center, Mohs dermatology practice, or office-based surgery department preferred.
* Must have reliable and predictable attendance.

Pay Range:
$24.82 - $34.74
