Commercial Manager – Central-South Region

What will you do?

Objectives


* Drive commercial growth in the Central-South region by expanding the pipeline, accelerating project closures, and strengthening partner relationships.


* Position Schneider Electric's value-added solutions effectively in the electrical market.


* Develop and lead a high-performing sales team aligned with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities


* Lead regional commercial strategy execution, ensuring alignment with national objectives.


* Manage and grow the sales pipeline, ensuring healthy conversion rates and forecast accuracy.


* Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key accounts.


* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including public and private sector projects.


* Collaborate with marketing, technical, and execution teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.


* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting the electrical sector.


* Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of performance, agility, and accountability.


* Ensure compliance with internal processes and ethical standards.

Functions


* Strategic account management and business development.


* Partner engagement and channel enablement.


* Sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.


* Talent development and team leadership.


* Cross-functional collaboration with technical, execution, and marketing teams.


* Travel to customer sites, partner offices, and internal meetings across the region.

Team Structure


* Direct reports: 9 sales professionals

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Technical Requirements


* Strong command of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and pipeline management methodologies.


* Solid understanding of the Mexican electrical market, including regulatory frameworks and key players.


* Ability to articulate and position technical value propositions in Power Systems and Products.


* Familiarity with commercial models, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation.

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field


* MBA or postgraduate studies (preferred)
